Bernie de Le Cuona, Sebastian Cox and Edward Bulmer work across fabric, furniture and paint that is rooted in nature.

Together they discuss how being surrounded by a palette of natural materials leads to harmonious interiors, a better quality of life and creates a lasting, positive impact for our planet. The chair Sarah Spiteri is the award-winning journalist and Future editorial director.

Bernie de Le Cuona is the founder of de Le Cuona, a purveyor of interior fabric using natural fibres. A leader of sustainability, she introduced 100% organic GOTS certified linen fully traceable from field to fabric.

Sebastian Cox is an acclaimed furniture designer, maker and environmentalist driven by the past to design and make the future. He produces heirloom collections of furniture, lighting and home accessories; bespoke installations; and design for production.

Edward Bulmer is unique amongst interior designers in also being an architectural historian, ‘colourman’, eco-worrier and farmer. His eponymous plant-based paints are both beautiful and breathable.
