Overview
de Le Cuona design and manufacture a wide range of fabrics and interior accessories. These are designed for both the de Le Cuona label and under contract to some of the world's leading home interior retailers and interior designers.
Founded by Bernie de Le Cuona in 1992, the company offers the world's most discerning Interior Designers and Specifiers a superb product backed by
unparalleled
service. The Linens collection is possibly the largest 'own-brand' collection in the world and the exquisite Paisley collection remains in a league of its own. Most of the collection of fabrics and accessories are available ex-stock from the UK and are now also available through a network of carefully chosen distributors across the globe.
Linen
The brand rapidly became synonymous with a variety of interesting weaves and a luxurious softness and floppy handle that had never previously been associated with linen. de Le Cuona became synonymous with chic and luxurious linens and the range now spans over one hundred different weaves and colours, with everything from fine, almost transparent fabrics to gutsy, thick weaves ideal for commercial use.
Inspired by antique French bed linen on sale at London's Portobella Road market, Desert Cloth has been designed to emulate that dry and slubby country bed linen. It is stonewashed linen, but unlike the others in the collection, Desert Cloth, as its name suggests, has a very dry handle, a matt and distressed appearance.
Paisleys
It started with a shawl and drawings of an old paisley found in a museum in Kashmir. After a lengthy development process, the range of woven paisleys began to infiltrate the collection in the late 1990s. Their acceptance by the market was instantaneous and the range has expanded rapidly to include traditional and antique paisleys woven in a combination of textiles. The colours range from subtle pastels to strong and vibrant reds, greens, blues, browns and purples.
Eclectic
The eclectic collection adds a new dimensions to the range. The range utilises some of the simplest yarns and some of the most sophisticated weaving and finishing techniques. Using everything from the same paper/cotton mix used in bank notes, to bamboo, silk and jute, this is a unique and exciting addition to the collection in both the textures, weights and colours. These products go beyond a talking point, adding depth and surprising durability to blinds, drapes and interior accessories.
